Challenge
Witmer Health Technologies (Witmer) is a health tech start-up that aims to apply digital technologies – a.i, machine learning, data analytics etc. - to develop solutions for mental healthcare.
The brief clearly outlined the requirements. Essentially, it was to be a clean and uncluttered responsive design that is very functional supporting fast page loading, search-optimisation enabled and had all security features. All content was provided by the Witmer team.
Approach
The design direction is a professional and progressive minimal look with all content distributed in a structured and hierarchical fashion. Striking multi-racial imagery, stylish icons and modern typography that in sync with the creative ethos, come together to create an impressive experience.
The brand asset library is appended with components that complements the already defined colour palette. Imagery that follows the cool colour spectrum of blue and green hues are dominant. The typography is a fine balance of a simple sans-serif font and an italicised serif one that creates differentiation in design. The iconography is crafted and pixel perfected. Overall, the layout grid is simple and set-up for a responsive experience.
For context to the company name, Witmer is named after the famous American psychologist, Lightner Witmer, who introduced the term “clinical psychology” and is credited with founding the field that it describes. The site is available for viewing at witmer.ai
