As the Godrej Industries Group prepared to unveil its new identity to the world, it had already developed a strong foundation across brand strategy, visual and verbal identity, and application design. However, the scale and complexity of the organization demanded a robust system of hierarchical frameworks, detailed documentation, and clear guardrails to ensure a seamless rollout.

Building a cohesive yet flexible brand governance system.
Anchored in global best practices and guided by a clear North Star, the approach focused on developing a holistic framework to unify a complex and evolving brand ecosystem.
We began with an in-depth exploration of the Godrej Industries Group corporate brand and its seven key businesses, building a clear understanding of each entity’s role, ambition, and operating context. This foundational work ensured that the solution went beyond the rollout of a new identity system to enable meaningful alignment at scale.
The resulting framework equips every business to express the master brand with clarity, discipline, and adaptability — ensuring consistency across all touchpoints while allowing individual entities the flexibility to operate effectively within their distinct environments.

A centralised guidelines and governance platform.
A comprehensive and responsive microsite was developed and hosted on the company’s intranet to serve as the central hub for the new corporate identity system. Designed as a one-stop destination for all business units, the platform provided seamless access to detailed guidelines, downloadable key assets, implementation resources, and key support links.
Built to support the scale and complexity of the Godrej Industries Group ecosystem, this microsite enabled every business and subsidiary to access the tools and information required to cascade the new identity consistently and efficiently.
